FindWork Policies
Code of Conduct for Students
This Code of Conduct explains how you should participate on FindWork to keep the platform safe, respectful, and useful for everyone.
Your responsibilities
1. Be respectful in every interaction
Use polite, professional language with businesses, other students, and support staff. Harassment, threats, bullying, or discrimination are never acceptable.
2. Be honest and accurate
Provide truthful profile details, availability, skills, and age range. Do not impersonate someone else or submit misleading information.
3. Keep communication on-platform channels
Use FindWork’s approved communication flow. Do not pressure others to move to private messaging apps for early contact.
4. Protect your privacy
Do not share sensitive personal information (for example: passwords, banking details, or private documents) in messages or listings.
5. Apply only to suitable roles
Express interest in roles that match your age, availability, and capability. Ask questions if requirements are unclear.
6. Follow workplace and legal requirements
Follow lawful instructions, safety directions, and local youth-employment requirements. If a request feels unsafe or unlawful, decline and report it.
7. Use reporting tools when something feels wrong
Report suspicious, unsafe, abusive, or misleading listings and behaviour as soon as possible so we can review quickly.
8. No harmful, illegal, or sexual content
Do not post or send content that is explicit, exploitative, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate for minors.
Safety first
If an interaction or listing makes you uncomfortable, stop engaging and report it immediately.
- Do not continue a conversation that becomes abusive or inappropriate.
- Ask a parent, guardian, or trusted adult for support when needed.
- Use the reporting option on listings and profiles to alert our team.
What happens if rules are broken
Depending on severity, FindWork may issue warnings, remove content, suspend access, or permanently ban accounts.
Read our Zero-Tolerance Policy for serious misconduct, and our Terms of Use for full platform terms.
