About
Local student jobs made simple
FindWork is a safer, simpler jobs board built specifically for students under 18 and the local businesses who want to hire them.
Our mission
Finding your first job shouldn't be hard, sketchy, or overwhelming. And local businesses shouldn't have to compete with gig platforms or pay to post on bloated job boards.
FindWork exists to connect students with real, local opportunities in their own suburb — no ads, no data harvesting, no dark patterns. Just simple profiles, verified businesses, and clear information about pay, hours, and age requirements.
We believe young people deserve safe, age-appropriate work. We believe businesses deserve an easy way to find reliable local help. And we believe both deserve a platform that puts trust first.
How it works
For students
- 1.Create a profile with your suburb, availability, and skills
- 2.Verify your email address
- 3.Browse local jobs filtered by age requirement and location
- 4.Express interest with a short message
- 5.Business replies via our email relay (your email stays private until you choose to share it)
For businesses
- 1.Register with your ABN and business details
- 2.Get manually verified by our admin team
- 3.Post job listings with clear pay range, hours, age requirements, and training info
- 4.Receive expressions of interest from students
- 5.Reply via our platform relay or arrange next steps directly

Questions or feedback?
We're building this platform in the open, starting with a single suburb pilot. If you have ideas, concerns, or just want to say hi, we'd love to hear from you.
